The waterproof feature is also a nice bonus for light rain, snow, or damp conditions, though I would still think of this as a tough utility layer rather than a full winter coat. It has a quality zipper that hasn't had any issues. Overall, it looks good, feels durable, and offers solid value if you want something warm, rugged, and easy to move in.

You arent winning any fashion awards with this vest as its appearance is all utility and no thought about looks, but my god is it versitile and durable. I do a lot of woodworking out of my detached garage and the vest was so very appreciated in cold weather. The durable treated canvas feeling exterior repelled most clothing ruining woodworking materials like sealants, glue, and oils. The assortment of pockets was like wearing a tool belt without the cumbersome belt. The interior lining and heavy duty zipper made this very comfortable to wear. while working keeping me insanely warm and cozy while in a 38 degree garage.

I ordered this vest for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. It is very comfortable and warm, looks great, and he loves that there are no sleeves to restrict his freedom of movement when he wears it. The pockets are perfect for holding his cell phone, wallet, and keys, and since the fabric is waterproof, he doesn't have to worry about the contents getting wet when he is working outside. The sherpa lining is so soft and feels like real wool, and I can't say enough about the quality. It is just as nice as, if not nicer than, some of the more expensive brand-name versions out there. jacket is very similar to Carhart material. Weight is not light, but not heavy - very medium. Side was spot on for me - 6'1" 158lbs and a medium fit perfect. Comes vacuum sealed and does required steaming to remove wrinkles. The sherpa lining is warm. Recommended for the price and warmth and quality. Zipper is metal and breaks in after used a couple of times. First couple of times are a little tricky.

I ordered this vest kind of on a whim just to give it a shot. I have been nothing but pleased with it. The color is a little bit more faded than it appears in the picture, but I am very ok with that. I got it in green and couldn't be happier with the way it looks. This thing is very well made, not a single hanging thread that I can find so far. My only complaint, and its pretty minor, is that the size just a shave big. Not enough to size down, but just a hair or two bigger than what I was expecting. Other than that, and it is so minor you won't hardly notice the difference, I don't have a single complaint. It is really warm, very durable, and worth every penny. I would happily purchase it again.

So I got this heavy duty utility winter vest to try. It's by my favorite company. TACVASEN. This is a men's work utility in duck canvas. Meaning it's gonna shed water. This is great to go over your shirt when you need to stay a little bit warmer. It's very durable and well-made. The stitching is excellent. This fast is gonna last a long time. I especially love the heavy duty zipper. This is my new favorite work vest one an amazing value.

That's where a vest like this really comes in handy.Winter survival is all about keeping your body heat from escaping, and the two places you lose the most heat from are your torso and your head. This definitely keeps my torso nice and warm, while allowing me to move around and do the work I need to do.The canvas shell is durable and looks good.The fleece lining keeps me toasty and contrasts nicely with the canvas material.I have no complaints about the zipper either - it works well and is easy to operate while wearing gloves.The side pockets are good for placing hands in, but they do not have closure fasteners - so not really optimum for a phone or other valuables.The inside pockets are better suited for that, as they have velcro closures.The collar really must be flipped down, because if I pop it up, the tips where the zipper teeth end...tend to end up in my face.For keeping warm while working outside, I've been very happy with this vest.
